Single
A single layer of five to nine petals surrounding
the central stamens.
Semidouble
Two or more layers of petals surrounding a
well-defined central group of stamens.
Anemone
One or two layers of large outer petals and a
prominent dense central cluster of petaloids.
Formal
Double
Has many layers of petals arranged in symmetrical
layers with a small bud centre.
